"Doskonałe puste ciało-kobieta" (Eng. This Perfect Empty Body-a Woman) / druga interpretacja

—-
zarżnięta
zastygnę w kształt niepowtarzalny
tym kształtem będę wabić
bezwładnymi ramionami
obiecywać rozkosz aż do dna niczego
dawać — oddawać
i będę tym doskonałym pustym ciałem
kobietą
—-
slaughtered
I will congeal into a unique shape
in this shape I will entice
with disabled arms
promising pleasure until nothingness dawns
giving — giving away
I will be this perfect empty body
a woman

"Ziemia tańczy pode mną" (Eng.The Earth Dances Under Me)

---

delikatnie niosę moje serce
jak obciętą głowę świętego Jana
ziemia tańczy pode mną

---

I carry my heart gingerly
like the cut-off head of St. John
the earth dances under me

"Świat ma tylko dwa piętra" (Eng. The World Is Just Two Stories Tall) -druga interpretacja (Eng. second interpretation)

---

świat jest taki mały
świat ma tylko dwa piętra
na wyższym jesteś tylko ty
oddychasz ciężko
obok stoi wieczność
ciemna

mozolnie po schodach
idę w długiej koszuli
ocieram usta
ciepłą wilgotną ręką
zakrywam usta
za mną
idzie wieczność
obydwie
stajemy pod twoimi drzwiami

z czołem opartym
bezgłose
jak rozpięty na strunie krzyk
łapczywie chwytamy oddech
liczymy raz... dwa... trzy...

świat ma tylko dwa piętra
tyko dwa
nieduże
z krążącymi gwiazdami świat
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
dlaczego tak trudno umrzeć?

---

the world is so small
the world is just two stories tall
you are on the upper one
you breathe heavily
nearby stands eternity
dark

I take the steps laboriously
walking in a long shirt
I wipe off my mouth
with a warm damp hand
I cover my mouth
behind me
walks eternity
we both
pause at your door

with foreheads leaning
voiceless
like a scream tent-pitched on a steel string
we greedily catch our breath
counting one... two... three...

the world is just two stories tall
just two
pretty tiny
a world with stars circling
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
why is dying so hard?

Świat jest taki ładny po drugiej stronie zamkniętych okien (Eng. The World Is So Pretty On The Other Side Of a Window Shut)

to bezsilność uszminkowała świat
do fotografii
śnieg upudrował kiełki konwalii
i drzewa mają wygięte rzęsy
prześwietlone okrągłym księżycem
-- świat jest taki ładny --
na ulicy
długi cień latarni
wplątał się w deski płotu
milczącego podłużnie
w bramie -- na przekór
skrzypiącym krokom
kwitną pocałunki
słyszysz -- dzwonią
jak drzemiące główki konwalii
-- świat jest taki ładny --
po drugiej stronie
zamkniętych okien

---

it was impotency which lipsticked the world
for the photograph
the snow face-powdered the lily of the valley shoots
and the trees have curving lashes
x-rayed by the round moon
-- the world is so pretty --
on the street
a long shadow of a street light
snuck its way into the pickets of a fence
which keeps mum all down the line
in the tenement gate -- contrary
to the squeaky footsteps
kisses bloom
can you hear them -- they are chiming
like the little sleepyheads of the lily of the valley
-- the world is so pretty --
on the other side
of a window shut

"Azylum" (Eng. The Asylum)

tutaj czas zakrzepł
jak krew w żyłach umarłego
bandaże z uschłych liści
owijają stężałe ciało

(...)

na nieruchomych ścięgnach
krótkie interludia
wygrywa przelatujący wiatr

poza tym cisza

---

here time has congealed
like the blood in the veins of a dead man
bandages of dried leaves
bundle the stiffened corpse

(...)

on immobile ligaments
a fly-by breeze
plays brief interludes

otherwise silence

"Samotność mojego rozkwitłego tobą ciała" (Eng. The Solitude of My Body Blossoming With You) + Study I, II, III in 1:2 Format

---

widziałam się jak gdyby poprzez szkło w twoich oczach
patrzących na mnie czułam twoje ręce na ciepłej napiętej
skórze moich ud i posłuszna twojemu rozkazowi
stałam naga naprzeciw wielkiego lustra.  a potem
zasłoniłam oczy twoje żeby nie widzieć i nie czuć
samotności mojego rozkwitłego tobą ciała.

---

I saw myself in your eyes as if through glass
looking at me I felt your hands on the warm taut
skin of my thighs and obedient to your order
I stood naked at front of a great mirror.  and then
I covered your eyes so as not to see and not to feel
the solitude of my body blossoming with you.
